If you don’t have time to call, we’re on Facebook and Twitter these days, if we’ve done something great please shout about it in whichever way you want, to as many people as possible but if something’s gone wrong please pick up the phone; talk to us and we’ll fix it.
Fuel tank supply
Modern oil storage tanks come in all shapes and sizes and are made from plastic. To minimise the risk of pollution from an oil spill, all modern tanks will incorporate secondary containment (a bund), which is achieved by using a double-skinned, integrally bunded tank.
It’s unlikely that a fire could be started by an oil storage tank and its contents but tanks must comply with fire separation distances in order to adequately protect the stored fuel from a fire or heat source, that may originate nearby. You will need an OFTEC engineer to install your tank and they will be responsible for talking to you about suitable bases and locations for the tank to be placed.
